The ULPGC Social Council announces a new edition of the University Debate League
Registration opens on Tuesday 8th March and closes on 21st March. The topical issue to debate will be, “Should the European Union develop its own defence system?”

The ULPGC Social Council allocates 31,200 euros for grants aimed at the mobility of 26 doctoral students
These grants aim to promote mobility during the undertaking of research and doctoral student visits, of at least one month, to other universities and research centres from outside the Canary Islands, in addition to participation in conferences or other types of scientific meetings.
The ULPGC Social Council has approved the awarding of extraordinary credit to complete the funding of three research projects within the MAC 2014-2020 programme
The research projects that have been subsidised are MACARAFOOD, DESAL and MARISCOMAC, which are also supported by ERDF funds.
The ULPGC and its Social Council sign an agreement with the Confederación Canaria de Empresarios in order to drive innovation in the business world
This agreement, pioneering within Spain, will also serve to tailor future university qualifications to the professional profiles most sought after by the business sector.
